Richard Every has 30+ years of experience in rugby officiating and management – added to his broader career skills in advertising, marketing and software development. His involvement with both professional rugby and marketing communications spans two continents, from South Africa to the USA. 

Based on his long relationship with (and love for) the sport, his perspective is that there are fundamental aspects of refereeing that can positively transform the game, enhancing its global appeal. Those concepts are supported in ADVANTAGE™. His vision is to provide referees the tools to create a fair environment for both teams by applying the Laws so teams can decide the outcome of the game.
